About Charleston Learning Center
The Charleston Learning Center (CLC) is dedicated to fostering economic growth and community development by empowering attendees with technology, business and entrepreneurial skills that align with regional workforce needs. The learning center is committed to providing accessible, high-quality, and inclusive education through innovative programs and strategic partnerships in a supportive applied learning environment.
The CLC's target audience consists of four profiles -Digital Basics Learners, Curious Learners, Professional Learners and Organizational Learners.
The Charleston Learning Center is located in downtown Charleston at 4 Conroy Street. This easily accessible facility, which is a part of the Charleston Tech Center campus, is located in the federally designated Opportunity Zone (OZ).
Recognizing the need for long-term success and sustainability, the CLC is comprised of of corporate, public, and non-profit organizations who serve as strategic partners and advisors to the organization. These partners play a role with curriculum development and delivery, organization strategy, financial support, and outreach to historically underserved communities.
Corporate partnerships
Organizations with a business presence in the Charleston region and support efforts targeting economic empowerment and in-demand skills training. Participation takes the form of financial and in-kind support.
Public partnerships
Organizations engaged to achieve better economic and education outcomes for their various constituencies. Participation takes the form of financial and/or in-kind support.
Community partnerships
Organizations seeking better economic and education outcomes for their respective members. Participation primarily take the form of curriculum development and marketing outreach to their members.
Individuals & Organizations
Individuals and organizations wishing to support the Charleston Learning Center by making a financial contribution to support scholarships for underrepresented attendees.
